I wish I had. The same set of facts apply to the laserdisc and the DVD: the sound and image of the laserdisc was far superior to that of the DVD, but in this instance I can personally attest to that. How about a fine performance of, say, Wagner's opera "Lohengrin" on Betamax and/or laserdisc?! How I wish. Lord, how I wish!
